TECH INTEGRATED LESSON: STORYBOARD THAT!

6th Grade Humanities

Lesson Overview:

Students will work on tracking character development through plot, by illustrating how characters from their book club texts changed throughout the course of the story. 

Using Storyboard That!'s scenes, characters, and shapes, students will show important events of the story that happen during the exposition, conflict, rising action, climax, falling action, and resolution. Along with each illustration students needed to also include 2-3 sentences which explain how that specific event changed or affected the main character. 

Students were allowed to use a previously completed pen-and-paper Tracking Character Development Through Plot Worksheet to help with this.
